Chris Kellogg:
Chris was born in Jefferson City and raised in small towns around the state, finally settling in New Haven, Missouri. He graduated from New Haven High School in 1980 and attended East Central, Missouri Southern State and UMC. His work at radio stations took him from Union and Joplin, MO to Lincoln, NE (he still hates the color red) and Tallahassee, FL before returning to Missouri in 1985.
Chris has been on the radio in Columbia since 1985, working at a rock station through the 80's and early 90's, oldies through the rest of the 90's and soft rock on KPLA for the last eleven years.
He and his wife Lisa married In 1986 and have four children. Rachel lives in Chicago. Aubrey is finishing her Masters in Ed at Truman State University in Kirksville. Levi is a Hickman Grad and will attend Truman State University. And Nathan will attend Hickman as a sophomore this fall.
Monica Senecal:
Monica was born and raised in Owensville, Missouri: home of the Dutchmen. She has called Columbia home since 2005, and she never wants to leave! Monica has a great time "working" with Chris Kellogg on the KPLA morning show, but she spends most of her time with son and daughter Gabriel and Anastasia and with her husband, Russ Palmer of Downtown Appliance.
Monica can often be found on stage at Columbia Entertainment Company, our local community theatre, where she also serves on the board of directors. Check out what's happening at CEC at www.cectheatre.org.
