Monica was born and raised in Owensville, Missouri: home of the Dutchmen. She has called Columbia home since 2005, and she never wants to leave!  Monica has a great time "working" with Chris Kellogg on the KPLA morning show, but she spends most of her time playing with her son Gabe and planning a September wedding with her fiance Russ Palmer of Downtown Appliance. Monica can often be found on stage at Columbia Entertainment Company, our local community theatre, where she also serves on the board of directors.  Speaking of directing... next summer, Monica will be making her directorial debut with "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee."  Check out what's happening at CEC at www.cectheatre.org.
